If you like to explore nature you can take a drive just 12kms off the highway out to the Currumbin rock pools. Burleigh Headland is also another spot, which is a great day out that doesn’t cost anything and is right in the heart of the coast. There are a few scenic walking tracks up through the rainforest, which are varying distances suitable for all fitness levels. If the weather suits you can take a swim at the patrolled surf beach or at the bottom of the headland in Tallebudgera Creek.
